Irrigation Operator

We have exciting opportunities available for Irrigation Operators at our busy and dynamic berry farm at Corindi on the beautiful mid north coast of New South Wales. In this role you will be responsible for the operation of irrigation systems involved in berry cultivation.

About the role

Irrigation Operators play a key role in the production of our berries. Irrigation Operators support the operations, monitoring and maintenance of our onsite irrigation systems to ensure plant health is optimised and maintained.

Key responsibilities include

• Operation, maintenance and daily checking of irrigation systems to ensure correct operation.
• Monitoring and recording results of plant health and water usage.
• Maintenance and operation of fertigation systems.
• Onsite repairs where appropriate, or referral for specialist repair.
• Provide support to horticulture, maintenance and other teams as required.

Qualifications

Trade or similar irrigation work experience would be desirable in the successful candidate, but not essential.

A current valid drivers licence is essential for this role.
