This is a fast paced role, responsible for supporting the administration of a large and complex payroll. Payroll Officer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our Corindi-based team on a 6 month fixed term contract. About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a small team, responsibilities for this role will include:

  • End to end payroll processing in a fast-paced environment
  • Processing a high-volume, weekly payroll using Preceda
  • Calculating annual leave, sick leave and other payments
  • Adding new starters and processing terminations
  • Handling any queries from employees regarding payroll matters
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager as required

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Experience using Preceda would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate keying skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A good team player.
